Rohtang Pass is at an altitude of 3979 meters from sea level. During this pass, we can see beautiful views which seem passion able. In the winter, the key is closed due to heavy snow and the dense fog covering heavily. To reach this place, it takes one hour time from Manali.
The Hidimba Devi Temple at Manali Hill Station:
Manali had significance in the Hindu epic Mahabharata; here, the Pandavas were attacked by Hidimb. Bheema the fight on Hidimba and was killed in the battle. Later, Bheema married Hidimb’s sister Hidimba and gave birth to Ghatotkach, the great warrior who showed his fierce fight against the Kauravas in Mahabharata. In the name of Hidimba Devi, the temple was constructed in the 15 century. The temple is heavily crowded with tourists and visitors due to the temple’s importance since the olden days.
Vashist Hot Water Springs:
Vashist Hot water springs are only 2 km away from Manali. Two temples are dedicated to saint Vashist and are carved beautifully and elaborately. The temple tanks are filled with underground hot water to spring the devotees, which contains sulphur and medicinal properties. So this water is supposed to have a salubrious effect.
Manali Religious Tibetan Monasteries:
Tibetan monasteries are worth seeing places. We can visit monasteries like Thekchoking Gompa, constructed in 1969. It is the highest concentration of Buddhist monasteries—the Kchoking Gompa is another beautiful monastery.
Solang Valley:
Solang Valley is the best place for adventurous tourists. The site offers various recreational activities like skiing, paragliding, skating, and parachuting.
Religious Place Manikaran:
Manikaran is the pilgrimage site for Hindus and Sikhs. The place has mythological importance and is suitable for visiting temples and other areas of worship.

In the winter, the Minimum temp could be below -5 C from Oct to March. On the remaining days, the temperature never exceeds 20 degrees Celsius.
How to Reach the Place:
By Air: The nearest airport, Bhuntar, is thirty miles from Manali. The flights are also available from Delhi and Chandigarh. But the prices are hefty. It is advisable not to carry too small an amount of baggage.
Rail: Chandigarh and Pathankot are the nearest railheads. The bus facilities are very convenient.
Road: Road connectivity is well-developed to Delhi, Ambala, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Haridwar, Shimla and Dharamsala.
