The devotees wear traditional clothing during the festival period, like Durga puja. Bengal and Bangladesh’s costumes are similar because both places were identical before India gained Independence.

Lungi is also another traditional dress for men. They knew many regions in India. We can find them easily in the markets. The villagers usually wear it regularly. And another traditional dress is Punjabi; these are loosely fitted clothing that reaches close to the knees. These are like kurtas and are also available widely in Bengal. They are made with cotton or silk.

At present, there are a lot of changes occurring in the lifestyle of Gujarat people. Bollywood movies and other series are influencing the lifestyle of women and men. The costumes, ornaments and styles are moulded according to societal changes. These days, the decorations are getting more aesthetic and stylish. Women are wearing these styles on occasion and also influencing the culture and heritage of their own.
