P. V. Narasimha Rao The Brief History:
Pamulaparthi Venkata Narasimha Rao was born on 28 June 1921. He was the 10th Prime Minister of India. Who served in the office during 1995. He has been admiring as the great administrator for his administrative reforms and bring new policies in the economic sector. He is well known as P.V. Narasimha Rao and the people of India called him as the father of reforms in India.
Before he came to the office India had been facing many problems in economic growth. The overseeing economic transformations and other incidents in India made an effect on National security. So he brought reformations in license raj., He brought many economic policies India’s modern economic history, especially the major economic transformation in overseas and several incidents affecting national security. Rao accelerated the dismantling of the license raj. He also brought the India’s free market reforms to save India from the bankruptcy. Due to this causes Indian government saves the Nation from the economic collapse.
As a Party leader:
During his period of administration, the Nation and his party faced tough situations but handed them with his diplomatic nature. So that he is also famous as the Chanakya of Modern India. During his term, P.V. Narasimha Rao’s government bagged bad reputation of preventing the demolition of Babri Mosque in Ayodhya. This was caused to infuse the Hindu-Muslim riots in India. After Prime Minister of India, P.V. Narasimha Rao political career turned isolation due to the corruption charges on him. Finally, he was died on 23rd of December, 2004 at New Delhi in New Delhi and was cremated in Hyderabad.
P.V. Narasimha Rao and His EarlyLife:
P.V. Narasimha Rao father’s name was P.V. Ranga Rao who belonged to a wealthy Brahmin family. His village name is Vangara, in the Karimnagar district, Telangana. He was very fluency in 17 languages. His mother tongue was Telugu, besides of the language he could speak Indian Languages like Kannada, Hindu, Tamil, Urdu, Sanskrit and Oriya. He could also speak the foreign languages English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Greek, Latin, German and Persian. He was very generous in knowledge and wrote many well-known books. In 1938 he participated in Vande Mataram movement which was launched in Osmania University. Therefore he had completed his education Nagpur and Poona. He studied Law degree.
P.V. Narasimha Rao and His Political Career:
In 1946 he joined the congress party as the camp follower of Swami Ramananda tirtha. Later he gives up his law practice and frequently participated in the freedom struggle. During the Freedom Struggle, he took the politics as his permanent career and continued In Indian National Congress as a member. During 1962 to 1971 he served as the Minister of Andhra Pradesh government and later be served as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. In the later years, he went to the central politics and supported Indira Gandhi during Emergency period.
Finally in 1991 almost he wanted to retire from the politics. But due to the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi he needs to led the minority government as Prime Minister.
His Administration Skills and Economic Reforms:
During his period as Prime Minister of India, his major achievements were liberalization of the Indian economy. He brought many reforms in the economic policies of India. Due to the economic reforms in India, the foreign countries were influx large amount of money as the capital to establish new industries in India. This became very boost to the economic status of India and the growth of the domestic business increased. He brought privatization of the public sector and introduced reliable policies to invest in infrastructure by foreign companies. With the ideas of then Finance Minister Manmohan Singh, Rao’s government open direct investments into India by foreign reliable companies. These all activities saved India from the level of Bankruptcy.
National security, foreign policy, and crisis management:
Mr. Rao not only concentrated on economic growth of India but also concentrated on National Security of India. During his term, his government wanted to do the nuclear tests but due to the pressure of America, they were stopped in the middle. He maintained diplomatic maintenance with neighboring countries of India. His government only permitted Israel to open its embassy in New Delhi.
Narasimha Rao was personally very brilliant in literature. He was very fond of reading and writing literature based books and also translated the famous Telugu Novel Veyi Padagalu into Hindi. Pamulaparthi served for literature for its developments. He wrote his biography as Insider. Which was discussed much political and public life of him.
